Very Brief 200/400 NL Shot

A few months ago my friend showed me this ridiculous PTR graph of this player who had lost $1M on iPoker. I saw him online for the first time today at 200/400 NL and I was bored as hell (games pretty much never run at 10/20 when I’m awake) so I decided to take a 20bb shot and see if I could run it up. On the 6th hand I got it in really good and managed to double up.

No-Limit Hold'em, $400.00 BB (2 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from

Hero (SB) ($7598)
BB ($40398)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A, Q

Hero bets $600, BB calls $400

Flop: ($1600) Q, A, 8 (2 players)

BB checks, Hero bets $800, BB raises $39598 (All-In), Hero calls $5998 (All-In)

Turn: ($15196) 9 (2 players, 2 all-in)

River: ($15196) 7 (2 players, 2 all-in)

Total pot: $15196

Hero had A, Q (two pair, Aces and Queens).
BB had 8, 9 (two pair, nines and eights).

Outcome: Hero won $15194

Unfortunately on the 7th hand…

No-Limit Hold'em, $400.00 BB (2 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from

Hero (BB) ($15194)

SB ($32800)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7, 7

SB bets $600, Hero calls $400

Flop: ($1600) 6, 2, 2 (2 players)

Hero bets $800, SB raises $2400, Hero raises $13594 (All-In), SB calls $11994

Turn: ($30388) J (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: ($30388) 4 (2 players, 1 all-in)

Total pot: $30388

SB had Q, 2 (three of a kind, twos).
Hero had 7, 7 (two pair, sevens and twos).

Outcome: SB won $30386

I quit straight after that. I managed to finish the day even though so I’m not too unhappy…

In other news I’ve finished three of the four videos for my upcoming series. I tried to record the last one today but not enough deep games were running so I couldn’t get any footage unfortunately. I’ll try again tomorrow probably.
